Alyissa Sanchez was born and raised in the East Bay area of San Francisco. She is a dedicated legal assistant with a strong background in both healthcare and law. Her journey began by assisting her grandmother through illness, which inspired her to pursue nursing studies at Montana State University in Bozeman. Although she later transitioned from healthcare to law, her education provided a solid foundation in medical terminology and documentation—skills that have proven invaluable in her legal work.
Alyissa developed her administrative abilities while working at her grandparents’ roofing company, eventually managing office operations. Her passion for advocacy took shape while assisting a law firm dedicated to elder abuse and neglect cases, where she gained a deep understanding of court systems, legal processes, and the importance of thorough, compassionate support.
In 2023, Alyissa joined Parkinson Benson Potter, where she currently supports cases involving wildfire claims, elder abuse, medical malpractice, and personal injury. Her prior experience at the Law Office of Scott Fikes sharpened her skills in case and discovery management, legal filings, and client communications within complex healthcare-related civil litigation. At PBP, Alyissa excels at reviewing and organizing sensitive medical records and legal documents, navigating court procedures, and assisting attorneys with trial preparation. Above all, her work is guided by a commitment to integrity and service—values instilled through her close relationships and early caregiving experiences.
Outside of work, Alyissa enjoys puzzles, baking, reading, and needlepoint.
